Hartmut Vogel Prize
The Hartmut Vogel Prize is a sponsorship prize awarded for the first time in 1993 by the German Association of Literary Societies and Memorials (ALG) for projects that serve as role models for other literary societies or literary memorials . It is endowed with 5,000 euros. It is named after Hartmut Vogel , a well-known organizer of the German literary scene and founder.
Structures
After initially being awarded very irregularly, the award is presented every two years. According to the statutes, the ALG member associations and their board are themselves entitled to submit proposals. The same board of directors, whose majority decision is brought about and announced during the annual conference, acts as the jury.
