Hartmut Fiedler

Hartmut Fiedler (born July 19, 1968 in Hoyerswerda ) is a German engineer. From 2009 to 2014 he was State Secretary for Economics and Labor in the Saxon State Ministry for Economics, Labor and Transport in the Free State of Saxony .

Life

After completing his military service with the NVA, Fiedler studied mechanical engineering and ergonomics at the TU Dresden and at the University of Limerick from 1989 . He graduated in 1994 after completing his diploma thesis at Adam Opel AG in Eisenach .

From 1994 he worked for the Association of the Saxon Metal and Electrical Industry eV (VSME) , among other things as an association engineer and from 1997 onwards as head of the economic policy / public relations department.

From 2000 Fiedler was managing director of the Vereinigung der Sächsischen Wirtschaft eV (VSW) and the SACHSENMETALL company association of the metal and electrical industry in Saxony

After Sven Morlok (FDP) was sworn in as Saxon State Minister for Economic Affairs, Labor and Transport after the state elections in Saxony in 2009 , Hartmut Fiedler succeeded Hartmut Mangold on October 6, 2009 and held this post until the change of government in autumn 2014.

Since May 1, 2015 Hartmut Fiedler has been one of the managing directors of Gasflaschenwerk Grünhain GmbH in Grünhain .

Since March 1, 2016, he has been a member of the board at Mugler AG in Oberlungwitz.

Hartmut Fiedler lives in Dresden , is married and has two children.
