Hartmut Mathieu

Hartmut Mathieu (born May 15, 1944 in Schwalbach ; † March 23, 2009 ) was a German editor and politician ( CDU ).

Mathieu initially worked as a publishing clerk at the Saar-Zeitung in Saarlouis , then he was an editor at the Saarbrücker Landeszeitung , the Südkurier in Singen and later at the Saarbrücker Zeitung in Saarlouis. There he was also editor-in-chief and was responsible for the city newspaper Lebach . He was then editor-in-chief for special topics in Saarbrücken for the same newspaper .

From 1985 to 1990 Mathieu was a member of the Saarland State Parliament . After his time in parliament, he returned to the profession of editor. Most recently he was active in a company.
