Haspelwald

The Haspelwald is eight kilometers long and two kilometers wide in Lower Austria , the Sankt Pölten-Land district and the Tulln district .

It is located in the municipal areas of Böheimkirchen , Neulengbach , Kirchstetten , Asperhofen , Perschling and Würmla . Places directly adjacent to the forest are Raipoltenbach , Murstetten and Totzenbach .

The highest point is the Frauenberg at 378 m.

At the edge of the forest in Murstetten was the Goldburg, which was destroyed by Napoleonic troops until 1809 .
