The small village of Totzenbach is a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Kirchstetten in the Lower Austrian Mostviertel on the border with the Vienna Woods .

Totzenbach borders directly on the Haspelwald .
history
Totzenbach was mentioned in a document in 1130. The place was originally owned by the Totzenbachers until 1394 and from 1513 to 1823 it was the center of power for the Lower Austrian line of Trauttmansdorff . In 1683 during the Turkish war, the place was largely burned down. Origin of name: 1257 Tocenpach, 1377 Totzenpach, meaning "Bach named after a man named Tozo (Old High German personal name Tozo or Totzo)".
The former community of Totzenbach became part of the market community of Kirchstetten in 1971.
