history
The judicial district Neulengbach was founded in 1850 and initially formed the district Hietzing-Umgebung together with the judicial district Purkersdorf and the judicial district Liesing .
Today it is part of the political district of St. Pölten and has existed in its current form since July 1, 2002, when the judicial district of Herzogenburg was dissolved and the communities of Kapelln and Perschling (Weißenkirchen an der Perschling until 2015) were assigned to the judicial district of Neulengbach.
