The judicial district Schwechat is one of 24 judicial districts in Lower Austria and comprises the west of the district of Bruck an der Leitha . The higher court is the Korneuburg Regional Court .
After Austria's annexation in 1939, the court was renamed the Schwechat District Court and was now subordinate to the Vienna Regional Court . In 1945 it was renamed the District Court again.
