District Court Vienna

The Vienna Regional Court was a German regional court in Austria during the Nazi era from 1939 to 1945.

The Regional Court of Vienna was formed on April 13, 1939, “Regulation to change the structure of courts in Austria”. It took over the tasks of the Regional Court for Civil Law Matters Vienna , the Regional Courts for Criminal Matters Vienna I and II, the Commercial Court Vienna and the Youth Court .

With the law to restore the Austrian judicial organization (Judicial Organization Act 1945 - GOG 1945), the organization of courts, public prosecutor's offices and other prisons in Austria that existed on March 13, 1938, was restored and the Vienna Regional Court dissolved.
