The judicial district of Liesing is one of twelve judicial districts in Vienna and includes the Viennese district of Liesing . Directly superior courts of second instance are - depending on the legal matter to be dealt with - the Regional Court for Civil Law Matters Vienna and the Regional Court for Criminal Matters Vienna .
After Austria was annexed in 1939, the court was renamed the Liesing District Court and was now subordinate to the Vienna Regional Court . In 1945 it was renamed the District Court again.
