District Court of Purkersdorf

The judicial district of Purkersdorf is one of 24 judicial districts in Lower Austria and one of three in the Sankt Pölten district . The higher court is the St. Pölten Regional Court .

history

After Austria's annexation in 1939, the court was renamed the Purkersdorf District Court and was now subordinate to the Vienna Regional Court . In 1945 it was renamed the District Court again.

On July 1, 2014, the Purkersdorf judicial district was to be dissolved and the communities assigned to the Hietzing judicial district . This was later postponed to 2016, in 2016 the project was discarded.

Since 2017, the district court and the municipalities assigned to it have been in the St. Pölten district .
