history
The judicial district of Lilienfeld in its current form has existed since July 1, 2002.
In 1854 the judicial districts of Hohenberg and Türnitz were dissolved and added to the judicial district of Lilienfeld. In 2002 the judicial district of Hainfeld was dissolved and the affected communities, namely Hainfeld , Kaumberg , Kleinzell , Ramsau , Rohrbach an der Gölsen and St. Veit an der Gölsen , were assigned to the judicial district of Lilienfeld, so that it now included the entire political district of Lilienfeld. The previous division of the political district into the two judicial districts of Hainfeld and Lilienfeld already existed at the time of the Danube Monarchy.
