In addition to the statutory town of Waidhofen an der Ybbs, the judicial district includes parts of the Amstetten district and thus extends over two political districts.

history

The judicial district Waidhofen an der Ybbs already existed in 1910, but in its current form only since July 1, 2002. At that time the former judicial district St. Peter in der Au was dissolved and the communities Biberbach , Ertl and Seitenstetten joined the judicial district Waidhofen an der Ybbs .

On January 1st, 2014 the judicial district Waidhofen an der Ybbs was dissolved and the communities were assigned to the judicial district Amstetten . On September 1, 2017, the judicial district of Waidhofen an der Ybbs was re-established.
