Korneuburg and the Korneuburg judicial district

The regional court Korneuburg (short: LG Korneuburg ) is one of 20 regional courts in Austria . It is located in Korneuburg in the regional court building 1. As a regional court, it is responsible for dealing with appeals against decisions of the district courts in the second instance  . In principle, it is responsible for civil matters in the event of a value in dispute exceeding € 15,000. However, certain cases fall within the jurisdiction of the district courts regardless of the amount in dispute. It is responsible for criminal matters in the first instance if the threat of punishment is more than a year. Certain criminal cases fall under his jurisdiction even if the threat of punishment is lower.

The court of appeal for decisions by the Korneuburg Regional Court is the  Vienna Higher Regional Court , and in criminal cases also the Supreme Court .
