The Regional Court for Criminal Matters Graz (short: LGS Graz ) is one of 20 regional courts in Austria and is responsible for criminal matters in southern Styria . It is responsible for deciding on offenses that are threatened with a prison term of more than one year as well as for - regardless of the sentence - certain offenses (e.g. dangerous threat ). In addition, it is responsible in the 2nd instance to deal with appeals against criminal decisions of the district courts.

The court of appeal for decisions of the Graz Regional Court for Criminal Matters is the Graz Higher Regional Court .

The Graz Regional Court for Criminal Matters is located in the Conrad-von-Hötzendorf-Straße 41 building, which also houses the Graz Public Prosecutor's Office .
