Carlos Alberto Souto Pinheiro Júnior (* 8. January 1984 in Natal ), usually only Carlos Alberto , is a Brazilian footballer , who as a full-back for several clubs in the Series A was active. He currently plays for the lower-class América FC Téofilo Otoni .

In his career he played for the following clubs, among others: América FC (RN) (1998), Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte (1999-2003), Londrina EC (2004), AA São Bento (2005), Uberlândia Esporte Clube (also 2005), Itabuna Esporte Clube (2006), Athletico Paranaense (also 2006) and Bahia (2007).

During Lothar Matthäus' brief coaching period , he played for Athletico Paranaense.
