The Linz Higher Regional Court (in short: OLG Linz ) is a court of ordinary jurisdiction with its seat in Linz . It is located in the Gruberstrasse 20 building, which also houses the Linz Public Prosecutor's Office .
Jurisdiction
Its competence extends to the federal states of Upper Austria and Salzburg .
Higher regional courts are the appellate courts of the regional courts in its area of jurisdiction. In particular, these are the following five regional courts:
- Regional Court of Linz
- Regional court of Ried im Innkreis
- Regional Court of Steyr
- Regional Court of Wels
- Salzburg Regional Court
The President of the Higher Regional Court is also head of the judicial administration of the district courts in his district and therefore reports directly to the Minister of Justice .
