Hate Pavia Lind

Hasse Pavia Lind (born June 10, 1979 ) is a Danish archer .

Lind is a non-commissioned officer in the Danish army.

He celebrated his first international success as an athlete as a member of the Danish national team with a ninth place at the 2001 World Cup in Beijing . Two years later at the World Championships in New York he was seventh in the individual competition. With this placement he reached the pre-selection for participation in the Olympic Games in 2004 in Athens . He finally secured his Olympic ticket with a placement in the main field of the Grand Prix tournament in Rovereto in April 2004.

Lind won first medals in May 2004 at the European Championships in Brussels . Behind the Italian Marco Galiazzo , he became vice European champion with the recurve bow in the individual competition. Together with Dennis Bager , Morten Caspersen and Bo Steimann , he won a bronze medal in the team competition.

At the Olympic Games in August 2004 Lind could not build on these achievements. Lind finished the qualification in eighth place with 666 wrestlers and in the first round he clearly prevailed with 158: 110 against the Egyptian Esam Sayed . In the second round he was defeated by the Ukrainian Oleksandr Serdjuk with a score of 164: 165 and was eliminated. In the final accounts, Lind only came in 19th place.
