Hassi Ferid ( Arabic حاسي الفريد) is a city of about 16,890 and a delegation of about 41,240 inhabitants in western Tunisia in the Kasserine Governorate .
location
Hassi Ferid lies at an altitude of about 700 to 750 meters above sea level. d. M. in the eastern foothills of the Tell Atlas , which in large parts have a (semi) desert-like character. It is about 325 km (driving distance) in a north-easterly direction to Tunis ; to Kasserine it is about 30 km.
economy
Although Foussana itself has developed into a regional center of trade, handicrafts and services, agriculture still plays an important role in the area around the city.
