Hatem Yaseen (born August 21, 1986 ), also spelled Yassen or Yassin , is an Egyptian snooker player .
Career
Hatem Yaseen did not start playing snooker until he was 18, but he continued to develop into one of the best players in Egypt and Africa. At the end of 2014 he took part in the amateur world championship for the first time . His greatest success at the age of 28 was the 2015 ABSF Snooker Africa Championship with a 6: 5 final victory over a compatriot, the former professional Mohamed Khairy . The victory gave him professional status and the right to participate in the tournaments of the Main Tour in the following two seasons.
In his first season he remained without a win, but had only participated in seven tournaments.
