The Hatfield Station (English Hatfield Station) of the South African public transport system Gautrain is a train station in the metropolitan area of Tshwane in the Hatfield district . The station area, laid out above and below ground, is located east of the center of Pretoria between Grosvenor Street and Jan Shoba Street ( M 7 ). To the northeast of the train station is the junction of the M2 motorway and the N1 national road . The Hatfield station forms the northern end point in the north-south section of the Gautrain and enables passengers to transfer to the PRASA local rail network .

Passengers destined for OR Tambo International Airport have to change trains at Sandton .

Connections with other modes of transport

The station can be reached using various modes of transport. These include the Gautrain bus service for Gautrain passengers, a separate shuttle system at the stations. Not far from the train station is the Hartbeesspruit station of PRASA, whose tracks run parallel to the Gautrain. Car parking spaces and short-term parking spaces are available in the vicinity of the Gautrain station.

Passengers can get to and from the platforms via stairs, escalators and lifts .
