The Haukelifjell is a mountainous area in the Norwegian provinces Vestfold og Telemark and Vestland . It is located south of the Hardangervidda National Park . The Haukelivegen (E 134) crosses the Haukelifjell from west ( Røldal ) to east ( Haukeli ).
The pass, which originally rose to 1,148 moh (Dyrskaret), now leads through three large tunnels:
- Haukelitunnel (5,682 m long)
- Svandalsflona tunnel (1,053 m long)
- Vågslid tunnel (1,647 m)
However, the old road is still there and can be used by hikers and cyclists.
There are several ski areas in Haukelifjell. The highest elevation is the Store Nupsfonn with 1693 moh .
