Haukeli is a place in the Norwegian municipality of Vinje in Vestfold og Telemark .

The place is a traffic junction where the Riksvei 9 and the E134, the Haukelivegen , meet. The place used to be called Haukeligrend . Since 1999 it has been called Haukeli again, as it was originally.
Twelve kilometers west of Haukeli is the Haukelifjell mountain region , in winter a ski area with Haukeliseter as the main town. Also in the vicinity of Haukeli there has been the Haukeli kraftverk since 1957 and the Kjela kraftverk since 1979 , both of which use water power as an energy source.
