Constance main cemetery
The main cemetery in Konstanz is a municipal cemetery in the Petershausen district of Konstanz . It is the burial place for the monotheistic religions of Christians, Jews and Muslims.
history
The main cemetery was laid out on undeveloped land on the right bank of the Rhine in Petershausen on the border with Allmannsdorf . It opened on May 1, 1870 and enlarged in 1898. This replaced the burials on the Schottenfriedhof on the left bank of the Rhine .
