Ludwig Stromeyer

Ludwig Stromeyer (born March 13, 1852 in Konstanz ; † October 23, 1931 there ) was a German textile entrepreneur and politician .

Life

Stromeyer founded Landauer und Stromeyer with a business partner in 1872. He was President of the Konstanz Chamber of Commerce from 1896 to 1918 . He was also the founder of the Konstanz Shipping Association, of which he was also chairman from 1907 to 1918. Stromeyer was appointed secret councilor of commerce .

From 1911 to 1918 Stromeyer was a member of the First Chamber of the Assembly of Estates of the Grand Duchy of Baden . His grave is in the main cemetery in Konstanz .
