Ulm main cemetery
The main cemetery in Ulm was laid out north of the old town in the 19th century and is located at Stuttgarter Straße 166.
There is a memorial for the victims of National Socialism near the cemetery hall. A burial ground holds 2153 fallen from the First World War and 423 fallen from the Second World War. A memorial to Russian prisoners of war of the First World War was made by Karl Federlin .
Around 5000 people have already been anonymously buried in the main cemetery in Ulm . The Ulm main cemetery has a collective grave for children who died in the womb or immediately after birth.
Israelite cemetery
In 1899, part of the main cemetery was set up on plot 1252 as the New Ulm Jewish Cemetery . This cemetery is still in use. In the New Jewish Cemetery there are memorial stones for the Jewish soldiers who died in the First World War in Ulm and for the Jewish prisoners of war who died in Ulm's hospitals during the First World War. There is also a memorial stone for the chief medical officer Dr. Franz Hirsch.

Well-known personalities are buried in Ulm's main cemetery, including:
- Rudolf Dentler , goldsmith and self-proclaimed "King" of Ulm
- Kurt Fried , publicist, art collector and publisher
- Christian Lauritzen , professor of medicine
- Hans Lorenser , politician, Lord Mayor of Ulm from 1972 to 1984
- Heinrich von Wagner , politician, Lord Mayor Ulm from 1892 to 1919
- Maximilian Reinelt , doctor and athlete, winner of the Olympic gold medal in the eighth 2012
- Karl Kässbohrer , car manufacturer, founder of the Karl Kässbohrer vehicle works, Ulm.
- Peter Wackernagel , director and theater director
Others
The cemetery is also interesting for ornithologists because of its old trees. On Easter morning the Ulm trombone choir plays in the main cemetery.
