Hauptstraße 31 is a listed building in Neuendettelsau , which was used as a bakery at times .
History
A building that belonged to a bathing house was already in place in 1518 . In 1678 it was mentioned for the last time as the "bath room near the church". In the same year the property is bought by Hans Schreuner, a "long-time farmer" for 35 florins . In 1684 it was bought by Friedrich Keeßer, a court assessor and baker, for 47 florins 3 kreuzers and used as a bakery. Under the Prussian administration of the Principality of Ansbach , the house was given number 40 in 1792. Since 1796, the property had 9 acres of fields and 1 acres of meadow. In 1834 it was mentioned as a “good with baking justice”. The bakery was closed in the second half of the 19th century. The house is currently uninhabited.
Building description
It is unclear when the original house was demolished. It is also unclear whether and, if so, how many previous buildings the house has today. GP Fehring dates it to the 18th and 19th centuries. Century. The house sign suggests that it was rebuilt in 1755 and either significantly rebuilt or rebuilt in 1838.
The building has a rectangular floor plan with two floors and a two-story gable and ends with a gable roof. A single-storey outbuilding was originally attached to the east side. It has storeys on the south, north and west side. A rectangular portal can be found on the south side, above it the designation 18. J. (ohann) P. (aul) E. (ngerer) 38. , above it a guild coat of arms with the designation Johann Simmon Lingman / Anno 1755 . There are rectangular windows on all sides, usually with cornices, and on the south side also with shutters. On the north side, the building is partially timber-framed.
