The evening peace house (house address Am Diek 28 and 30 ) is a listed villa in Wichlinghausen in the Wuppertal district of Oberbarmen .

The two-storey villa was created from two individual houses, which were built around 1780 (another source mentions the year 1850) in half-timbered construction. The vacant lot between these two boarded-up houses was joined in 1894 (another source mentions the year 1897) with a four-meter-wide staircase in the Bergisch Baroque style . The facade of the half-timbered construction is now slated. The protruding staircase forms a central projection with a central balcony. The balcony is provided with a wrought iron balustrade.

A nursing home has been housed in the building for around five decades. On January 17, 1985, the building including the fencing was placed under monument protection.
