House of the railway vehicle works 1 (Böckingen)
The Bahnbetriebfahrzeugwerk 1 building in the Böckingen district of Heilbronn is a residential building built around 1900 for railway employees . As a cultural monument, it is under monument protection .
The multi-family house on the site of the Heilbronn freight station was built for employees of the Royal Württemberg State Railways . It is a three-storey building made of unplastered, color-contrasting bricks and a facade that is symmetrically structured by a horizontal cornice and layers of colored bricks. Segmental arches span the windows , and two risalits each have a gable with a carved free chevron as the upper end.
