House Klatte

The Klatte house is located in Bremen , Schwachhausen district, Riensberg district, Schwachhauser Heerstraße 170. The residential and summer house was built in 1896. It has been a listed building in Bremen since 1986 .

history

The single-storey residential building with the distinctive, two-storey, central gable projection, with protruding pitched roofs and a loggia was built for Anna Klatte in the age of historicism in the Swiss house style in 1896 . The summer house with many decorative elements made of wood stood on the edge of the rural settlement of Schwachhausen at that time.

Today (2018) the house is used by apartments. Behind it is a three-storey residential building from 2013 with nine condominiums.

Note: In Schwachhausen, Hollerallee 32, there is the Villa Klatte from 1900, which was built for Jacoba Klatte.
