description

The "former vintner's homestead with vintner's house, house and barn" is now a listed building . The two-story, now completely massively executed main building is traufständig to Winzerstraße. It has a size of four to two window axes, on top sits a saddle roof , the newly constructed, open roof structure creates a "very special spatial effect". A single-storey outbuilding is attached to the right-hand side, under which there is a cellar that can be reached via an external staircase. The buildings are plastered, the windows are framed by sandstone walls. The roofs are tiled and have recently received three gable dormers on the main building and two on the auxiliary building.

The barn was demolished and replaced by a new building. This and another building on the north side as well as the two buildings on the street side surround an inner courtyard. A well, 24 meters deep, was rediscovered between the buildings and replaced.

Inside the house, “doors and fittings from the Biedermeier period ” have been restored. An old kitchen stove was also refurbished.

history

According to the Radebeul house index, the property, which has probably been used for viticulture for a long time, was sold to Joh. Gottl in 1832. Hofmann sells.

The family Klotzsche took over in 1847, the vineyard property at the foot of a large wine box directly below the Minckwitzschen vineyard , which today is the conservation area Historic vineyard landscape Radebeul belongs. The house and vineyard owner Karl Christian Klotzsche applied in 1864 to be allowed to tear down the existing house and replace it with a newly built winegrower's house and stable. Their plans came from the master mason August Große . In the same year, the approval for use took place. A rear annex was built in 1868, but the side building to the east was built around 1800.

In 1870 the property was given to Ms. Closer.

The current owner of the "listed building with great care and great attention to detail" was awarded for "the great harmony of the newly created ensemble [...], which enables the building to be used for joint living and working for several generations" Radebeul Builder Award 2006.
