The Krieger house , Collenbuschstrasse 10 in Dresden - Loschwitz , is a residential building built in 1934/1935 according to plans by the architect Wilhelm Kreis for the machine manufacturer Dr. Franz Emil Krieger . The listed building belongs next to the house Dr. Geyer and Haus Klemperer are among the few surviving private residential buildings that were built in Dresden between 1933 and 1945. The "tradition-bound architectural direction" is remarkable. The architect used a tiled hipped roof , bat dormers and a wrought iron trellis. The diagonally divided windows and the white plastered, unadorned facade surfaces belong to the modern design language. In 1936 the house was named "exemplary".
