history

The two-storey, rectangular, brick- clad villa with a central risalit , basement and hipped roof as well as a rear balcony was built for the lawyer Otto Meyer in 1927/28 in the period between the wars .

Krahn planned many villas, residential, terraced, commercial and country houses in Bremen in a conservative style. The design of the Pape house from 1927 is comparable to this villa. The Wenhold house , also from 1927, which Emil Fahrenkamp designed in the New Building style , stands in the immediate vicinity of House Meyer and as a contrast .

Today (2018) the house is (also) used for offices.
