The Pützer house is a building in Darmstadt . It was named after the architect Friedrich Pützer .

History and description

The Pützer house was built around 1910 according to plans by the architect Friedrich Pützer and served as his home. The building was damaged in an air raid in 1944. After the Second World War , the Pützer house was rebuilt in a simplified manner.

The outer shape of the street-side cube-shaped building - with its strict, cautiously structured facade - is a representative example of modern architecture from the 1910s. The interior staircase , decorated in different woods , was retained.

The outdoor area with the fence , the garden house and a fountain has also been preserved . The fountain is the work of the sculptor Heinrich Jobst .
