The Haus Reichert is a building of the architect Reinhard Ferdinand Heinrich Fischer in Calw .

The city hospital had stood on the property at Bischofstrasse 1 until 1692. After it was destroyed, the square remained undeveloped until the current building was built in 1790 according to Fischer's plans for the mayor Jakob Friedrich Hasenmayer. Today it is named after the Reichert family, who bought the house around 1900. The former residential and commercial building has a symmetrical facade divided by a central projectile.

A sandstone plaque on the building presumably came from Carl Reichert and instructed the visitor that the house had housed the Calwer Company until it was closed in 1797 . At least the connection to the Kalverstraat in Amsterdam that was drawn on this board seems to be a joke.

The Reichert house, which temporarily housed the Calw Toy Museum, stood empty for a long time. Plans to convert the building into a gallery were abandoned because of the high renovation costs and a planned redesign of the Hessemuseum and Palais Vischer . Since 2002 the house has been owned by the city of Calw. After the sale to a private investor for a symbolic price of one euro, the building was renovated and used again for residential purposes.
