The Watzinger house at Leo-Tolstoi-Straße 9 is a building in Darmstadt-Eberstadt . It is a cultural monument for architectural and city-historical reasons .
History and description
The country house was built in 1905 according to plans by the architect Friedrich Becker . A steeply rising mansard roof dominates the single-family house . The peculiar proportions of the house are striking. It appears - compared to the height - relatively short. A massive mid- sized house corrects this apparent disproportion. The front of the villa is the north facade with the inserted terrace .
