House of Stories
The Müllenbacher House of Stories is an approx. 100 year old house in Marienheide (district Müllenbach ) in the Oberbergischer Kreis in North Rhine-Westphalia , Germany, used as a museum .
The house was bought by the writers Harry Böseke and Heidi Böseke. It has been converted into a museum and exhibits have been brought together. In the “House of Stories”, not individual exhibits are shown, but fully furnished rooms. For example, an old shop that was found in the same condition in the house 50 years ago is on display. Original items from the former village doctor's practice are also on display. Other key topics are black powder , quarrying and carting .
In 2004 the Villa Ohl , a project of the "House of Stories" was opened.
