The House of Books is a library of the City of Vienna built in 1969 in the 8th district of Vienna . It is located at the intersection of Laudongasse , Skodagasse , Daungasse .
In 2003 the main library was moved to Urban-Loritz-Platz . The building now serves as the headquarters of the city of Vienna's music schools.
In 1970, the main library served as a filming location for the Giallo The killer of Vienna by Sergio Martino . The entrance area functioned as a hotel portal through which Edwige Fenech strides.
