The house in the beeches is an upper-class residential building in Darmstadt-Eberstadt , Heidelberger Landstrasse 69.
The villa was built in 1914 according to plans by the architect Peter Müller . Stylistically, the villa belongs to neoclassicism . However, what is unusual for this architectural style is the asymmetrical resolution of the facade . The architect extended the balcony from the center of the building to the south and placed the entrance on the northeast corner. Notable details include the beaver tail covered mansard roof , the balcony railing , the mosaic - pavement at the entrance and the signature on the doorstep.
The villa is an example of the neoclassical architectural style in Darmstadt. It is a cultural monument for architectural, architectural and urban historical reasons .
