The Havsbotn ( Norwegian for seabed ) is a bay on the Prince Harald Coast in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . It is located in the narrow, southern section of the Lützow-Holm-Bucht .
Norwegian cartographers, who also gave it its name, mapped it using aerial photos taken during the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 .
