Hawa (mythology)

Hawa (from Hebrew חַוָּה, ḥawwāh or cḥawwah ( [χaˈva] or [ħaˈva] ), 'the animate') is the primordial woman and image of the evil Ruha among the Mandaeans .

Ptahil created her as the companion of Adam pagria , with whom she forms the original human couple. They thus correspond to the Jewish and Christian original couple Adam and Eve .
