Haworth is an impact crater on the front of the Moon near the South Pole, southeast of Cabeus Crater and northwest of Shoemaker . The crater is polygonal in shape and eroded, the interior heavily furrowed.
The crater was officially named by the IAU in 2008 after the British chemist and Nobel Prize winner Walter Norman Haworth .
