Haworthia glabrata is a species of the genus Haworthia in the subfamily of the Affodilla family (Asphodeloideae).

description

Haworthia glabrata grows without a trunk, sprouts and reaches a height of up to 12 centimeters. The lanceolate-triangular, narrowed leaves are spread out. Your leaf blade is up to 8 inches long and 1.5 inches wide. The leaf surface is rough. There can be clearly raised, non-confluent growths on it.

The sparsely branched inflorescence is loose. The upside-down flower tube is curved and the tepals are rolled back.

Systematics and distribution

Haworthia glabrata is widespread in the South African province of Eastern Cape .

The first description as Aloe glabrata by Joseph zu Salm-Reifferscheidt-Dyck was published in 1834. John Gilbert Baker placed the species in the genus Haworthia in 1880 .
