Hayes & Yeading United (officially: Hayes & Yeading United Football Club ) is an English football club from Hayes, London Borough of Hillingdon , Greater London, playing in Conference South , the sixth-highest division in England, in 2013-14. The club's venue is the 6,036-seat Kingfield Stadium in Woking , which the club shares with Woking FC .

Club history

The club was created in 2007 from a merger of the two Conference South clubs FC Hayes and FC Yeading . The new club Hayes & Yeading United took over the place of FC Hayes in the Conference South. In the 2007/08 season, the club won 54 points in the Conference South and finished 13th. In the following season, Hayes & Yeading United reached fourth place with 81 points, which entitles them to participate in the playoff games for promotion to the Conference National . In these the FC Eastleigh and Hampton & Richmond Borough were defeated and thus for the first time secured promotion to the Conference National. In 2012, the club rose again from the Conference South .
