Justin Vincent Cochrane (born January 26, 1982 in Hackney , London ) is a former national football player from Antigua and Barbuda from England .
Club career
Cochrane began his professional career with the Queens Park Rangers . On the last day of the 2000/01 season, he made his debut in the 55th minute, only to be sent off just 17 minutes later. It was his only league appearance for QPR until his departure in 2002 and he joined FC Hayes in the Isthmian League . A year later he returned to the Football League and signed with the second division Crewe Alexandra . 2006 Crewe relegated to the third division and Cochrane, who played on loan at Gillingham FC in the months before , moved to Rotherham United on a free transfer . Rotherham, due to financial problems with ten minus points in the season, rose at the end of the season in the Football League Two and dissolved the contract with Cochrane again.
In the following years he played mostly on a non-contract basis at Yeovil Town , Millwall FC and Rushden & Diamonds . In February 2009 he signed a contract with Aldershot Town until the end of the season, the manager there Gary Waddock trained Cochrane as a youth at QPR. After his contract with Aldershot expired and was not renewed, Cochrane signed with Hayes & Yeading United in the Conference National.
National team
Cochrane has played for the Antigua and Barbuda national team since 2008 . It was used in the two qualifying games for the 2010 World Cup against Cuba as well as in the 2nd round of the CFU Caribbean Cup 2008 , in which Antigua qualified for the final round.
Cochrane was later also responsible for recruiting footballers eligible to play for Antigua for the national team, including Mikele Leigertwood .
Coaching career
Cochrane had been a coach at Tottenham Hotspur's youth academy since 2009 . In 2018 he became the coach of the England U15 national team and in 2019 he was promoted to head coach of the U16.
