Hayn is an impact crater on the northeastern edge of the moon's front . Due to its location, the crater appears strongly distorted from the earth and is not always visible due to the libration . It is located southeast of the Cusanus crater and north of the Mare Humboldtianum . The terraced walls are little eroded. The interior has a pronounced central mountain divided into four by two crosswise fractures.
