Vijay Anand Nedumpuram CMI (born September 24, 1938 in Cherpumkal , India ) is a Syro-Malabar clergyman and bishop emeritus of Chanda .

Life

Vijay Anand Nedumpuram joined the Congregation of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate at and received on 17 May 1967, the priestly ordination .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Chanda on April 20, 1990 . The Archbishop of Ernakulam , Antony Cardinal Padiyara , donated him the episcopal ordination on July 3 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Joseph Pallikaparampil , Bishop of Palai , and Paulinus Jeerakath CMI, Bishop of Jagdalpur .

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on July 31, 2014.
