Hayri Sevimli (born February 22, 1991 in Bremen ) is a German football player of Kurdish descent.

Career

Sevimli began his career at VfB Oldenburg , where he made his debut against SV Bad Rothenfelde on May 23, 2009.

Between October 25, 2007 and September 7, 2008, he played eleven games and scored three goals for the Lower Saxony Football Association .

In summer 2009 he moved from VfB Oldenburg to the reserves of VfL Osnabrück . After only one assignment for VfL reserves, he moved to the second team at FC Carl Zeiss Jena in the summer of 2010 . He made his professional debut for FC Carl Zeiss Jena in the 3rd division against Hansa Rostock . After the end of the 2010/2011 season, Sevimli was released from FC Carl Zeiss Jena.

Private

Sevimli is said to have attacked a ticket inspector in Jena on November 14, 2010 together with the A youth player Ömer Cay, injuring him with a glass bottle. The Jena public prosecutor's office is investigating the group around Cay and Sevimli. FC Carl Zeiss Jena then temporarily suspended Sevimli from playing and training.
