Business areas
Deep sea work
Heerema Marine Contractors develops, procures and installs all types of equipment and structures, for example all types of oil drilling platforms, up to a water depth of 3500 meters. For such projects, among others, the two deepwater be workboats ( English Deepwater Construction Vessel ) Balder and the Thialf , the most powerful floating crane in the world used.
Heavy lift
HMC has been moving and installing all types of heavy goods for almost five decades . In addition to floating cranes, the company also has numerous tugs and barges .
Dismantling and dismantling
Another business area is the dismantling and dismantling of the above-mentioned structures. Since the useful life or service life of an oil drilling platform, for example, is limited to the period of drilling and it is then replaced by a production platform (complete replacement or conversion from drilling to production platform), HMC also offers the dismantling, conversion and relocation of platforms.
