Hege Haukeland Liadal

Hege Haukeland Liadal (born November 29, 1972 in Haugesund ) is a Norwegian politician of the Social Democratic Workers' Party (Ap). She has been a member of the Storting since 2013 .

Life

From 1997, Liadal worked in the tourism industry. Among other things, she worked as a travel consultant, office manager and from 2007 to 2010 as customer center manager for local public transport in the Rogaland province . From 2010 to 2012, she finally worked for an Adecco branch in Haugesund. From 2011 to 2013 she was a member of the Haugesund City Council.

Storting MPs

In the general election in 2013 Liadal moved for the first time in the Norwegian National Parliament Storting one. There she represents the constituency of Rogaland and she was initially a member of the family and culture committee. After the 2017 election , she moved to the Energy and Environment Committee. During the current legislative period, she was transferred to the Health and Welfare Committee in October 2019.

Billing fraud

In 2019 it became known that she submitted incorrect travel expense reports to Parliament several times from 2013 to 2016. In 30 cases she is said to have made illegal monetary claims through travel expense reports and other means. For example, she is said to have submitted reimbursements for private expenses. After the first reports of these incidents in April 2019 by the newspaper Aftenposten , Liadal was reported by the Storting administration.
