The Heidberg rises between Calvörde in the west, Lössewitz in the north-west, the nearby Zobbenitz in the north-north-east and Dorst in the south-east. It is located in the Zobbenitzer Pax on the edge of the Klüdener Pax-Wanneweh nature reserve . The 1140 district road passes to the north , not far from the elevation is the Ranten desert and the Rohrberg to the west. The Heidberg is completely covered by meadows.
